Chong Qing Zhong Ju Chemicals & Metals Co Ltd, located at Chinese Golden Triangle of Manganese Sector, is a joint venture share-held by Best Era International Holding Ltd. We have a team of senior engineering professionals including metallurgists, assayers, mechanists and experienced executive management. An effective quality control system has been developed.

The company is equipped with advanced scientific research & assay instruments, complete material processing and machinery power facilities. Total capacity of four units of submerged arc furnace goes to 25200KVA. From mining to deep processing of alloy, we have a complete production process. Production and sale of manganese alloy, chrome alloy and their raw materials are our focus. Annual production includes silicomanganese alloy (Mn65Si17, Mn60Si14) 58,000 tons, electrolytic manganese 30,000 tons and high/intermediate carbon ferrochrome 50,000 tons. As we abide by ISO9001:2000 quality management systems, some technical indices of the products are better than national standard. Some products are sold in domestic market and the others are exported to Southeast Asia, Europe and America.

Silicomanganese alloy:
1.Definition: silicomanganese is an alloy made up of manganese, silicon, iron, small amount of carbon and other elements. It is a ferroalloy in extensive use and production. It is used as compound deoxidizer in steelmaking, and as reductant in low carbon ferromanganese and electro-silicothermic process to produce manganese.
2.Raw material: manganese ore, manganese-rich slag, coke, silica and lime..

4.Usage:
Silicomanganese alloy is used as a deoxidizer and an alloying element in steel. Meanwhile, it is raw material in low and intermediate carbon ferromanganese production.
5.Production method:
Silicomanganese alloys are at the same time to restore the submerged arc furnace using carbon manganese ore (including the manganese-rich slag), and silica in the oxidation of manganese and silicon dioxide and refinery production.

Ferrochrome:
1、Description: an alloy of chromium and iron, an essential component in steel production. Usually Cr2O3 should be 40~50% in chromite for smelting to ferrochrome; and the proportion of Cr and Fe should be more than 2.8.
2、Category: According to the content of carbon, ferrochrome can be categorized to high carbon ferrochrome, medium carbon ferrochrome, low carbon ferrochrome and extra low carbon ferrochrome.
3、Usage: In the past ferrochrome as an additive was added in steelmaking at the last stage. Nowadays low carbon and extra low carbon ferrochrome has to be used for making low carbon stainless steel, and refining chromite therefore has developed in large scale.
4、Raw material and method of production: silicon-chrome, chromite and lime as raw material is refined in 1500~6000KVA electric furnace to produce medium, low and extra low carbon ferrochrome.
